Question 1

How do I join?

Accepted Answer

Email info@knowmytow.com with your business name, service area and the scales you use. Weighing businesses are approved by hand; once you're approved, your account gets the weighing tools.

Question 2

What scales do I need?

Accepted Answer

Any scales that give per-wheel or per-axle readings. Record the model, serial number and calibration details in your profile and they appear on every report you issue.

Question 3

Does Know My Tow email the report to my customer?

Accepted Answer

No. Tell the customer to sign in, or create a free account, with the email you entered; the report is waiting there. You can also turn on a view-only link they can open to download the PDF.

Question 4

Can I change a report after issuing it?

Accepted Answer

No. Issuing locks the report so the customer's copy can't change, so check it before you issue.

Question 5

Do my customers need to pay?

Accepted Answer

No. Issued weigh-ins appear in the customer's free account, and the setup made from your weigh-in is unlocked for them on the free plan.

Question 6

Can my logo appear on reports?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Reports show your business details, plus your logo once it's added to your profile; send it with your application.
